On December, 14 in the RBC Press Centre “MarkPrior” company held “TaxFree comes to Russia”press conference devoted to the start of the TaxFreeRussia project. From 2012 it will allow foreign citizens to refund the VAT from the purchases made in territory of the Russian Federation.

At the press conference different questions were raised both by the journalists present, and the Internet - audience of the RBC site. The most discussed from the questions were: how much is interesting the TaxFree in Russia, will foreigners buy more goods, and will there be any benefit for Russian retailers? Besides that general questions on the creation, principles of work and introduction of the system as well as about the opportunities of partnership and joining the system, prospective market volumes and proceeds were discussed during the press conference.
